These can be opened up fairly easily so that fresh white grease applied for smooth operation. Note that this is untested, but I will accept a return or send out replacement if it does not work upon initial installation.

This unit appears to be in overall good condition, with no broken or damaged areas, and corroded-out parts. Here is an original Delco-Remy headlight switch that assembly-line-correct for 1970 Chevelle model's. I snapped in a headlight knob, and the internal mechanism slides out freely as it should.

Part number of this unit is 1995 173, which was superseded by 1995 183 after 1970 production.
